Hippity Hoppity All Day!

After our busy morning of Easter baskets, church, and egg hunting, we headed over to Maw Maw and Paw Paw's house for some Easter lunch.  My parents and family also came up to hang out with us and let Addison hunt eggs with Josie, Ryleigh Jane, and Colbie.  We had so much fun visiting with everyone, and I especially like RJ's moods when everyone is altogether.  She walks around smiling and being pretty sweet because all of her favorite people are in the same place.  That would make anybody happy right?

Maw Maw and Paw Paw took RJ and Josie to the feed store on Saturday afternoon to pick out some new chicks for Easter.  They color coded them to remember whose was whose.  Ryleigh Jane's was green, and her name is Cassie.  Josie's was blue and named Cowboy, and Addison's was orange and named Prissy.

Josie really liked holding the chicks.  So much so that Maw Maw and Paw Paw had to let her ride home with hers in her lap.  The chick was a little in shock from being held so much, but it managed to pull through and make it home alive!

They were so cute playing with these!

Colbie just wanted to eat leaves instead of playing with the chicks.

Getting ready to go hunt the eggs!  The older kids: Kaylon, Clay, and Elizabeth hid them. They also complained about having to hide so many and so many times.  All the adults really gave them a hard time about this because we were the ones that hid the eggs for them!  The audacity- Can you believe that? haha!

Elizabeth helped Colbie find some eggs

Josie was pretty good at scooping them up!

Colbie found a few too :)

Addison was an egg hunting machine!

Clay and Milo really enjoyed the festivities

Everybody hiding and hunting.  The dogs loved eating the Easter eggs as much as the kids liked finding them!

Addison counting her stash and eating the chocolate!  She ended up eating 3 chocolate bunnies the day of Easter.  This girl loves her some chocolate!

Haha!  Silly girl :)

Happy Easter from the Touchstones!  This is one Easter holiday we won't forget.  It couldn't have been more perfect.
