Happy New Year!

We spent New Year's Eve at home with Katie and Joey and all of our girls!  We caught up on family news, ate some good Boston Butt and sides, and then popped some fireworks.  We were all in bed by 11!  We tried to make midnight, but it just didn't happen!

If I am totally honest, this year was a blur.  Life has gotten really busy with RJ doing her own activities and having friends.  Brad got to go on a once in a lifetime trip to China, we updated our house, RJ went to more dance hours/trips than we can possibly count.  It was a quick one, but it was a great one because we are all together. We lost the life of a precious friend this year much too soon, and it really put into perspective what is important. We also watched the Lord heal a child of cancer, which was amazing!  We worship and follow an awesome God.  Sometimes we don't understand things that happen and why and how, but God does, and if I learned anything this year, it's "God's got this!"  Happy New Year!
