Santa Claus came, and he surely delivered! Ryleigh Jane asked for a Promethean board for Christmas from Santa this year, along with 29 other items including tickets to Paris! I told her Santa had a budget, so maybe she should google how much those boards cost to see if it was in Santa's budget. As soon as she saw the price, she fell in the floor crying because she knew it was too much, and she would never get one. There were some other items on her list that were musts for her: LOL big surprise ball, a large teacher size dry erase board, cute set of clothes, shoes, and shoppies...All of which Santa could deliver! When she woke up on Christmas morning, she came down the steps and did NOT say a word. Brad and I were worried she was upset, but she sat in my lap and looked at her loot. I gave her a little hug, and her heart was beating 4000 beats a minute, and she said, "It's so big!" She LOVED what Santa brought, and that makes our hearts happy!

We had our usual cinnamon rolls, coffee, chocolate milk and sausage balls and sang Happy Birthday to Jesus and blew out his candle. After playing for a little while, we packed up and headed to MiMi's for our Burke Christmas!
We are so thankful for each other and all of our blessings. Jesus is definitely the reason for the season, and we hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!
