Brad and I love to go on a trip to just about anywhere at anytime. One of our family favorites is Gatlinburg, TN. His parents have a timeshare condo there, and we try to use it when the week comes available. It's been almost 2 years since we have had the chance to go, so we jumped on it. We had so much fun! Addison joined us to keep Ryleigh Jane company, and they really enjoyed it. We went to Dixie Stampede the first night, then Dollywood for the day Saturday, it rained Sunday, but we still did some sightseeing and finished our trip up by walking around downtown. The car ride home was a long one, but we made it home with 2 sweet girls in tact!
Riding in the car for 10 hours is so much fun!
Addison was so sweet in the car :)
Having a little picnic
So excited to finally be there and out of the car!
This is a girl after my own heart when it comes to snack time!
Love these 2 girls
Brad is so sweet to them :)
Just looking for some fish!
Having our popcorn and listening to music at Dixie Stampede.
Me and Addie
You can't tell by this picture, but we had awesome seats! Addison got a flower from one of the horsemen, and she was super fascinated with the girl riding through fire on the back of 2 horses. She kept saying, "I bet she has to practice that every single day a whole lot." Ryleigh Jane is her father's child and got bored with it all. She looked straight at Brad in the middle of the exciting show and said, "Alright, I'm about sick of this." If that isn't Brad I don't know what is!
Dollywood!!!
Waiting to ride Polar Express
The little boy at the bottom wanted to be in our pic so badly! I figured what the hey, it's Christmas :)
Addison drove us around the track
Brad and RJ took the pink ride around town.
Ferris Wheel time!
Waiting to ride the mini roller coaster
They got to ride in the very front and screamed and giggled the whole ride. All the parents and grandparents around us kept giggling with them and telling us how cute they are, which we already knew! This was hands down their favorite activity of the entire trip. They wanted to ride again and again and again. They talked about it all the way home and also told my mom about it first thing!
Flying Elephants
Teacups!!!
Brad went super fast
Addison loved it!
RJ started feeling sick :( Her head was literally spinning during this ride. I couldn't help but laugh at her, and she didn't like that one bit!
A little more low key
They started getting sleepy on this one.
Literally less than 20 minutes later.
My cute little snowbunny :)
It was pretty dang chilly that night!
I LOVE this picture! They both look like they are super happy and just alive!
RJ took this pic
And this one!
Waiting on the light parade
Floats going by were so pretty!
She kept getting tickled at the characters going by and turning around and doing this face. So Cute!
Hey Santa!
I have put my request in with Brad to decorate a tree in my yard like this next year, like that will ever happen ;)
Watching them make taffy at Smoke Mtn Candy Shop
Addison won these teeth in the Fanny Farkle Arcade
Merry Christmas!
One horse open sleigh???
Airhead tongue-itis
The Amazing Mirror Maze- Addison was terrified and cried through most of it, and then when we went out and RJ said she wanted to do it again Addison bucked up and did it too!
Party dance room
You can tell Addison is scared here. Me and RJ look possessed!
Posing with a few bears
Waiting to eat supper
Yummy pizza!
Me and my booger.
Sweet girls
One of my favorite scenes
This is what 2 girls do in the condo when it's raining, and they are bored!
On our way home :(
Addison was ready to see her mama!
I have a million pictures of Brad driving and looking just like this!
Do I look tired??? Nah...
