Snowapalooza 2014

We have had an awesome Snow Day break here at home in Hattiesburg.  This temperature drop has got to be the coldest I can remember in my 33.5 years on this earth.  It has been one cold winter, and I have been loving it!  We have really enjoyed some good quality time as a family, since both of our offices and the school closed for these two days of ice and snow.  Here is how we have spent our time!

I'm sure everyone can guess what was being done here!   RJ had her Frozen wand that sings "Let it Snow" from the movie, and she was willing it to snow harder ;)  Wonder how many times that was done by little girls in our area yesterday??!!

Katie had to go in to work for a little while, so the girls came over to play.

Catching ice on their tongues...

Colbie decided she would be a big girl and do it too :)  I didn't matter than she was under the porch!

This is about the amount of precipitation we got, but the ice the next morning was much thicker!

Lulu is a bred down snow dog according to Pomeranian bloodline history, and when it gets cold outside, you can tell!  She hardly sat still.  At Katie's she was running full force in circles all the way around the outside of the house.

Snowball Fight!

Snow Angel time!

Sheer bliss!

We took a stroll to the Rivers house because we had cabin fever and the roads were iced over!  This was a pretty spot we found under some cane growing on an empty lot.

The slide was a hit with all the snow at the bottom!

How happy does she look here???

Back home to more ice and snow

We baked because there was nothing else to do!

Staying warm :)
