Following family tradition, we spent Christmas Eve baking cookies and preparing for dinner and presents with Brad's family. I enjoy this time of year so much because of these simple traditions. Katie and Joey were on rotation to be with us this year for Christmas Eve and that always makes it more fun, especially for Ryleigh Jane! Here are some pics of our day/evening. One family tradition that did not get documented with a photo was our December 23 tradition of riding around looking at Christmas lights and coming home to watch the Polar Express on a pallet all together. It's one of my favorite things we do, and I hope even when RJ is older she will still entertain me :)
