Moving Day for the Rivers

Katie and Joey bought a house in our neighborhood a couple of months ago now, and we are so excited about them being our neighbors on top of being our friends and family :)  We kept the girls for them the day they moved all the heavy stuff and set the rooms up for the girls.  I am so looking forward to having them this close all the time.  I love a house full of children, and I hope they can come and play a lot!  Here are a few pics of our day together!

We cooked supper for movers, and Ryleigh Jane and Josie helped me at the grocery store.

They each picked out a snack (candy) to eat after they were so sweet in the store.

Colbie came over after her birthday party.  She is such a spunky little girl :)

Showing off another snack they picked at the store!  I'm a softy!

We went to the park.  Yes, RJ dressed herself.  Can you tell?

The girls baked a cake and decorated it all by themselves.  It was our dessert for the supper I cooked.

This is a diabetic coma waiting to happen.  They named it appropriately, the "candy land cake."
As you can see, there is a line down the middle so they couldn't fight over who got to decorate what part.  This is an excellent way to clean out your sprinkle cabinet!

The girls in our "play room."  Colbie had just made it on the bed when the big girls decided they would get down.  Needless to say, she was not happy about that!

Sweet girls playing...I hope that Katie and Joey will use us as babysitters more often now that they are so close!  Hint hint...
Ryleigh Jane loves having playmates!
