Time for an update

If you are wondering where we have been, I had the flu last week.  I tried to continue to do my normal routine (this is before I knew I had the official flu), but it just wasn't happening.  Tonight, I am going to do a quick update, and since it has been since the 17th and we had Christmas (and the stinking flu), this may take more than one post, or it will end up being very long!

We had Christmas Eve festivities at Brad's parents' house.  RJ had fun, but she was missing her partner in crime (Josie).  She absolutely thought her gifts were the coolest ever!  Her favorite part of the whole night though was being Santa Clause and helping to pass out the gifts.

Christmas morning, RJ wasn't too interested in opening presents.  It took us like an hour to open 8 presents because she would much rather eat candy than rip paper, which really surprised me!  We will work on that before February 2nd, or we will have one really long birthday party.

Christmas afternoon we were at my parents' house.  RJ got a really fun car that is remote control powered, so we can steer her wherever she needs to go.  She just sits back and lets us drive her.  She thinks she is something in that car.

I couldn't resist showing MiMi riding Elizabeth's scooter.  She never does anything like this, and I love when she does!  It makes me smile :)

Brad stole this snuggie in the dirty santa game.  I had no idea he wanted one so badly, but it looks fabulous on him!  Don't you think?

We also spent one night at my dad's sister's house with some of that side of the family.  We have a LOT of girls in our family :)  We are missing 3 boys, but the girls still outnumber those stinky boys lol!

Finally, we celebrated Christmas a few days late with the Wade's.  We ate some mexican food, and then went to Lewis lights.  RJ and Connor were in heaven, especially when they got their suckers;)

We had an awesome Christmas, and we got some of the best gifts ever!  Thanks everybody for making it so special, especially since I was under the weather.  I can't wait for 2011!

  1. I think the picture of brad in the purple snuggie should be on his facebook campaign page.
