Playdates all around

Play-date #1:
I know this is a little late, but I couldn't let this fun night go by without recording what happened.  Chris and Candice invited us over for New Year's, along with a few other friends.  We always have a really good time with these 2, like laugh so hard your cheeks are tired and your stomach muscles are sore the next day good time, but this party was probably one of the more fun "parties" we have been to at their house.  Candice made some yummy appetizer type foods, so we ate and mingled for a little while.  Then, they broke out the Wii and Just Dance.  Who knew a video game could be so much fun?  Of course, this type of game is right up my alley.  You choose a song and imitate the dance moves on the screen, and it scores you on how well you did.  It was soooo much fun!  Even Brad, the anti-dancer that he is, loved it. He even liked it so much that we went to Wal-Mart and Target the next day to see if we could find one, but they are all sold out.  I guess the holidays wiped them out!  We will buy a Wii soon, so everyone will have to come over and challenge us.  Brad did beat all the guys, so he is ready to take on anyone :)

We were not even intoxicated in this picture, even though it may look like it haha!

Brad becoming the guys champ of Just Dance- just look at the determination on his face.

Play-date #2:
I picked Josie up early from school one afternoon last week because I didn't have to work, and Ryleigh Jane always loves having someone to play with.  The afternoon went really well until 2 things happen: 1. One has to the eat and the other is not supposed to or 2. One needs to nap and the other is not supposed to.  Those are the only 2 times that I feel truly challenged when keeping 2.  It is really such a blast to me, and I cannot wait to see them both running around here screaming and staying up all night.  Add Addison in on the mix, and it could get really wild haha!  I love keeping and playing with my nieces.  I love them all so much :)

Do you all think they look alike?  We don't see it except in a select few pics.

  1. Is that Will Selman in that picture with Brad? If it is, I went to school with him from like 1st grade to 12th! Small world!

  3. I would be terrible at the Wii dance game. Katie knows my moves are extremely limited except for my famous grab move I pull out when needed. I do not think they look a like... Ford would love to be sitting in the middle of them though!

  4. I love how the guys are holding their mouth just right so they can get those dance moves right! No, they do not look alike in that picture, but they do in some!
