Everybody was off work for Good Friday, so we decided that we would take a trip. Good Friday also just so happens to be Addison's 2nd birthday (my sister's youngest daughter). We decided to go to the zoo, so we get all packed up and ready to go. We drive down to New Orleans, and lo and behold, everyone and their grandmothers were going to the zoo too! We didn't even park, just got back on the road and headed to the French Quarter. We ended up eating at Cafe Maspero, my favorite daytime place to eat in the NOLA. Then, we headed to the Aquarium and the Riverwalk. It ended up being a great day. Addison had a great time looking at the fish for her birthday. At the end of the day, we headed to a Mexican restaurant where they sang Happy Birthday to Addie. Finally, we made it home and crashed. It was such a fun day :) Now, we are just looking forward to Easter Sunday with Brad's family.
