Ryleigh has become a world traveler in a very short amount of time. Since birth just 11 weeks ago today, she has been to Atlanta, Gatlinburg, New Orleans, and now Gulf Shores. My mom, Jennifer, Elizabeth, Addison, Ryleigh Jane, and I all loaded up and headed to the beach for a quick girls trip. We got a late start on Tuesday night. Mimi and the girls arrived in Hburg to pick us up with Ryleigh's 3 rd Easter basket in tow. We then got on the road. About halfway down there, we ended up having an air leak in one of the tires, but thankfully we made it safely after stopping to add a little air.
It was freezing cold that night and the next morning, but we came to go to the beach, so after getting the tire fixed and making a trip to Wal-Mart to buy Elizabeth a bathing suit...yes, she forgot to bring her bathing suit to the beach, but what trip would be complete without a trip to Wally world? Anyway, we went down to the beach where Elizabeth and Addison played in the water and the sand. RJ sat in her clothes on a towel in the shade. It was way too cold for her to be in a swimsuit! That night, we ate at Lulu's, which was really good.
On the way out the next morning, we stopped by the Foley mall for a little shopping. It was such a good trip. Getting away with the girls is so fun, and it's just what the Dr. ordered. We made it home just in time to watch Elizabeth play softball and win her game 11-0!
When did y'all go to Atlanta? I missed that somehow.
