DMI Competition and Convention

The next weekend, we went to our favorite competition of the year. DMI in Baton Rouge.  RJ just about gave me heart failure because she ran off the stage for the very first time ever in the middle of her solo.  We just knew that was going to knock her out of placing because this is a serious competition. She shocked us once again!  She performed better than she ever had the 2nd time she went and ended up being 4th runner up and making it up on the stage!  That's been a goal of hers for a long time. I was so proud, and I was proud of their trio for winning their age category as well.  What a fun weekend!
