Oh the love I have for these two people. RJ loves her daddy so very much, and the feeling is definitely mutual. The love and adoration these 2 have for each other just makes my heart so very happy. I am so thankful for a daddy that is so sweet and loving to her. I had one just like it, and I know what a precious gift that is!

December Activities #3- The Nutcracker Present
Brad and I thought and thought and thought about what we could get RJ for Christmas. She already has everything she needs and really everything she ever wants. She is truly spoiled rotten, but she isn't ungrateful about it. It's hard not to spoil an only child that is sweet 95% of the time and compliant. We finally settled on getting tickets to the Russian Nutcracker performance in New Orleans on December 23. We kept it a secret until we were leaving out of the driveway. She has been begging for a nutcracker doll, so I wrapped one up in a cute little box along with the tickets and let her open it. We told her that we had to get dressed up for one of Daddy's work parties. She tried so hard to have a good attitude about it. When she opened that box and realized what we were doing, she was so very excited! She thanked us about 10 times on the way to New Orleans. She absolutely loved it, even though she got a little sleepy in the first act. Who am I kidding? I got sleepy too! The second act is always where it's at in the Nutcracker! It was absolutely breathtaking and enjoyable. We had a blast!

Janice! These are so fun to read-thanks so much for writing them. I appreciate that you are taking the time to catch up with last year. That blue dress on RJ with that headband is just the cutest thing ever. She seems like such a great kiddo!
