December Activities #2

We had a few activities in December that weren't related to Christmas that I need to document as well, so here they are!

Ryleigh Jane has wanted to be Student of the Month for the entire school year.  She quietly and excitedly watched Josie and Colbie receive their honor, and she kept asking what she was doing wrong?!  This little girl is such the people pleaser and rule follower... Not sure where she would get that from...Anyway!  She finally scored the honor for the month of December.  She was so excited about her poster!

She also attended not one but 2 sleepovers in the month of December!  She is a homebody at bedtime, so I was a little worried about these, but she did it!  She did tell me that she didn't want the other girls to think she was a baby, but she really did want to come home. She just didn't say anything and finally fell asleep after she cried silently for a minute... Break my heart!

Caroline's Party

Marie Kate Woolwine's Christmas sleepover

The SES Cheer and Football banquet were held in December as well.  We had the Miller girls with us this night.  As you can tell by the picture, it was long, boring, and they were hungry!

We also had to say goodbye to a really sweet friend of RJs.  We have known Kate for a few years now, and her and RJ LOVE each other.  They danced together at Dancesouth for 2 years.  We are going to miss her so much!  We had a going away party for her at 32 degrees with our Company 1 girls.  We love you, Kate!!

RJ had some teeth pulled, and she wanted to take this picture while she was on the gas.

Some silly Santas :)

We also had to attend a wedding for Brad's law partner's son, Ned.  We drove to Kilgore, Texas got all dressed up and had a ball!  RJ and I danced, we ate well, took pictures in a photo booth, and just had a good little road trip as a sweet little family!  I loved every minute of it!

We also did a little detour to this neat National Park- Poverty Point on our way home.  It was the coolest park I have ever been to!  RJ loved it too!
