Easter Weekend

This year for Easter, we had our friends, Adam and Julie, visiting in New Orleans.  Julie had never been to NOLA before because she is originally from upstate NY, and she had never made it that far south!  We were all excited to show her around town and have a nice evening out.  We started at Pat O's, moved on to Frenchman street, down to Camellia grocery, walked to the Boot,  cabbed it back to Cafe du Monde, and we finally made it back to our hotel room to be woken up at 2:30 am to a fire alarm.  It was quite an eventful night!  We ended our short trip with a trip shopping and a meal at Court of Two Sisters.  We had such an awesome time catching up with these two, and so wished we lived closer so we could hang out more.

This was the picture of my swollen blistered feet in the lobby at 2:30 am :)

We packed up after brunch and headed to my mom's house for Easter festivities.  RJ and Addison dyed eggs, hid them, and hunted them while we swam/layed out, and ate shrimp and crawfish!  It was a fabulously relaxing weekend.

The Easter bunny came!!!

A whole lot of my world in one picture!  I love these girls :)

Happy Easter to everyone!  I am so glad that God sent his Son to die on the cross to save us from this evil world.  There are so many days that I look around and see so many terrible things, but Easter helps us remember that God has conquered this world, and He is coming again!  I cannot wait for the day to see His face and all His glory shine down.  Praise be to God and thank God that He lives so we can too!
