New Year's Eve and the month of January kept us playing it up with our families. New Year's Eve is Pete's Birthday, so we ate at Conestoga steakhouse with my family first. Then, we headed over to Katie's to drop RJ off and pop a few fireworks with the girls before we went to Chris and Candice's house to spend the evening until midnight. We spent some time with both sides of the family and some really good friends, watched some Saints football, played outside, and babysat. We also got ready for our first trip to Disneyworld, and played our first board game as a family. Life is busy but so much fun!

Josie helped her daddy pop a few.
Brad pops a mean sparkler too!

Ryleigh Jane was so brave and held a sparkler!
She was so proud :)
Josie quickly followed suit.
Colbie just sat back and took it all in.
We did work a little bit. This is Brad being officially sworn in as Lamar County Prosecutor.
