Ryleigh Jane was very excited about Santa visiting our house this year! She set out her cookies and milk for Santa. We also put out reindeer food, but instead of RJ leaving it in the bowl, she threw it all out in the yard where it was hard to see it at all. Even so, she was so very excited the next morning when we woke her up at 7:30, and she couldn't see any of the food in the grass from her viewpoint of the front door. It was one of my favorite moments of the morning when she realized it was in fact gone! We opened presents with just the 3 of us, ate our cinnamon rolls and beverage of choice (Brad-chocolate milk, Me-coffee with yummy flavored creamer, and RJ-white milk), and we then got dressed for church. Church was a really good service until we were heading back out to the car and Brad threw his back out trying to get RJ in her seat. He proceeded to take a lot of medicine and lay in the bed for the next 3 days, but that is a whole other post in itself! We headed to my parents' house after church to open presents and just hang out for a couple of days. It was a really good holiday for us. I truly enjoyed it!

Cookies and milk for Santa
Look what Santa left! He brought her the purple doll she requested. It was the only thing she asked for. She also got some dress-up clothes, make-up, puzzles, candy, clothes, hair accessories, and a trip to see Yo Gabba Gabba Live!
