On August 2, 2011, Brad Touchstone was voted Lamar County's Prosecuting Attorney. All the hard work paid off, and Ryleigh Jane and I are so proud of you! We had a party at Maw Maw and Paw Paw's house the night of the election to "count the votes." Brad won with an overwhelming 66% of the vote. It was more than we even hoped for, and we feel so very thankful for all the help we got and so blessed to have this opportunity to help our county.
A special thank you from our family to the following people that helped us make all of this happen, and these are in no particular order: Maw Maw and Paw Paw, Greg and Denise, Kaylon, Clay, Doug, Ned Nelson, Kevin, Katie and Joey, Chris Kelly and the Kelly Clan, Mi Mi and Paw Paw, Jenn and Pete and the girls, Brad's law firm, Mark and Ashley Norton, Tinker, Clifton Addison, all the contributors to the campaign that helped alleviate some of the monetary burden, and there are many, many more.
We have finally gotten back to normalcy, so I can start blogging again :) I know you all are so happy about that!
